Meet Jedidiah Faulkner.

Hey Dallas Bay!

My name is Jedidiah Faulkner, but everyone calls me Jedi (Jetty like by the ocean, not Star Wars… but yes, I am a Star Wars fan). I’m 35 years old and have been married to the best person I know, Brittany, for 13 years this December. Together, we have five, crazy, beautiful children: Delaney (11), Annabelle (9), Jackson (7), Elijah (4), and Paisley (2). Life in our home is full, loud, never boring, and an absolute blessing.

I have had the privilege of serving in full-time vocational ministry for 10 years, with experience in both student ministry and worship ministry. I have a deep love for the local church and a desire to serve people well. I especially love corporate worship and the unique role it plays in the life of the church. 

I’m thrilled for the opportunity to lead DBC in worship on Sunday morning. I believe worship is more than simply singing songs; it’s an opportunity for the church to gather together, fix our eyes on Christ, proclaim the truth of the gospel, and respond to who God is and what He has done. The songs we’ve chosen for Sunday’s service are You’ve Already Won, How Great Thou Art, Build My Life, and How Deep the Father’s Love For Us. We’ll get the privilege of singing words of victory, worship His greatness, and be reminded of His indescribable love. My prayer is that no matter what you’re experiencing in your life in this season, this time together will be a moment of reflection and proclamation of the firm foundation of Jesus Christ.

My family and I are incredibly grateful for where God has brought us, excited about what He is doing now, and genuinely excited about the future and all that He has in store for us at DBC.
